Newcomer’s Guide

Welcome to world of tanks. Unfortunately we regret to inform you that there is definitely a learning curve, and it is rather harsh with few 'in game' tools to help teach you.
The Newcomer's Guide on Wargaming's site will help familiarize you with the basic garage lay out and game progression. It will also help you learn controls and generally the absolute basics of the game. Check this guide and make sure you know all the information here. After that, if you haven't already installed the game client, then download it here. Once you have created your account and are inside the client you can press esc to see the menu and click on 'Training Center' to see pretty much the same information that's in the Newcomer's guide. |

Tutorial

Next thing to do is to complete the tutorial mission. This tutorial introduces you to the absolute basic vehicle controls, moving, aiming, and shooting.
If you weren't directly foced to do the tutorial after logging in, you can still select it by pressing esc to open the menu and clicking on 'Enter Bootcamp.' Following the tutorial you'll get several new player missions that will give your account a nice boost to get you going. Among these is a free stock tier 6 tank. |
